Dear Rising Sixth Grade Families,                                                                   

Welcome to UMMS! Starting middle school is an exciting time.  To assist your child with this transition, we have included a list of supplies needed for most classes and some optional items.  We ask that your child bring the needed supplies on the first day of school.

Shirt for PE class: purple, gold, or UM (does not need to be new) and sneakers

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Individual teachers may request a few additional supplies after the school year begins.

  • Consider purchasing more pencils while they are on sale to replenish throughout the year.

  • Label these items with your sixth grader’s first and last name: calculator, highlighters, water bottle, folders, composition book, and graphing notebooks
