Dear Incoming 8th Grade Parents,

We are excited to meet our new classes and begin this special year with your children. Below you will see the supplies that are required for eighth grade, as well as a list of optional items.  We are looking forward to an enjoyable school year!

Required Supplies:

• earbuds (needed in classes daily)

• 2 graphing notebooks 

• 2 folders  

• 1-inch width binder

• pens/pencils

• 2 boxes of tissues

• TI-30XIIS calculator (Walmart, Staples, Amazon)

• Students enrolled in chorus will need one 2-inch width binder for their music 

                            

Optional Items:

• highlighters

• post-its (3x3)

• 4 triple-A batteries (for the graphing calculators that they will be using in the classroom)

***It is also suggested that all 8th-grade students purchase a TI-84 Plus graphing calculator.

 In an effort to combat the germs that are spread throughout the year-especially cold and allergy season, any donations of the following items are greatly appreciated. These items can be dropped off in homeroom on the first day of school.     

• Clorox/Lysol wipes 

• hand sanitizer  

There may be additional requests for supplies during the first week of school by specific teachers.
