Primary School Flexible Instruction Day
Instruction/Learning:
Homeroom teachers will create 5 days' worth of math and literacy FID lessons.
Lessons will be labeled as FID Math #1, FID Math #2, etc.
Specialists will prepare 1 FID lesson for each grade level and deliver lessons to the homeroom teacher.
Homeroom teachers will create FID packets for their students to be kept in their yellow folders.
Teachers will be available for office hours where they will be at their computers checking emails and/or meeting with students through Google Meet.
These lessons should be a review of material already taught or grade-level material that can be accomplished independently.
Attendance:
Attendance will be taken the first-day students return to school after the FID.
If students have completed the FID lessons, they will be counted as present for the FID.
Homeroom teachers will turn in class lists marked with present (P) or absent (A) to the main office.
Attendance for all absent students will be entered into the eSchool system.
